Born January 31, 1962 in Östersund. I began playing bass in an instrumental jazz-rock group at the age of 14. Then I joined the early Swedish punkrock group Shit Kids in 1978 which recorded 2 EP’s, Jag måste ha ett jobb and Rik mans flicka, before we split up in 1980. At the same time, 1979–1980, I also was a member of P.O.P. After that I joined the pop band Skum which lasted for a year until 1982. Then I left Östersund for Stockholm. Once in Stockholm I went back to the instrumental music as a member of the prog-art rock quartet DumDurumDum 1983 with Clyde Blomberg. The quartet did some performances on art exhibitions and similar events and existed from time to time, sometimes with the name Bomb Fishing, until 1990 when I put the bass on the shelf.

However the desire to play came back and 2007 I became one of the founders of what would become Brain.

My musical influences come from a wide area. To mention some of them: Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Ventures, Herbie Hancook, Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Rush and Elvis Costello. I’m very broad in my music taste and listen to music from almost any genre.
