Born March 30, 1967 in Stockholm, grew up in Ödeshög. Started playing when I was about 13 years old. After a while, I got this reputation of being the mad teenager sitting from early morning until late evening, bashing up the drums in my rehearsal room. So finally, I got my first job in a band: Poleaxe which later became Vanguard. We were raised on 80’s hard rock and heavy metal mostly. But since many years I’m more into the 70’s.

My biggest claim to fame was a tour I did whith Pseudo Sun, my band at the time, featuring Nik Turner of Hawkwind. Oh, the stories that man could tell.

I remember offering him a cigarette. His very polite response was: “No thank you, I don’t smoke tobacco.” I’ve also played in a band called Judah where we collaborated with producer Leif Larsson (Louise Hoffsten) and did some touring in Germany. I joined Brain in 2020.

Artists, bands and musicians who inspired me are Abba, AC/DC, Beatles, Black Crowes, Black Sabbath, David Bowie, John Bonham, Clem Burke, Dave Grohl, Josh Homme, Magnum, Rush, The Sonics, Supertramp, Pat Travers, Jack White, The Who. Also heavily influenced by indie bands like Devo, Elbow, Electric Six, Killers, Mercury Rev, My Morning Jacket, The Shins, The Strokes and Wilco.
